Northeast India is a captivating region known for its rich cultural diversity, stunning landscapes, and unique traditions. Comprising eight states—Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura—this area is often referred to as the “Seven Sisters” (plus Sikkim).

The region is characterized by its lush hills, dense forests, and vibrant wildlife, making it a haven for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. The Brahmaputra River, one of the major rivers in the world, flows through Assam, nurturing the fertile plains and supporting agriculture.

Inclusions/Exclusions

To help you plan your trip, we have put together a list of what’s included and what’s not included in your tour package. This will give you a clear understanding of what to expect and help you make any necessary arrangements before your journey begins.

Inclusions:

  • 08 Nights’ Accommodation in above mentioned 3* hotel or similar
  • All the room are base category unless otherwise mentioned
  • Meal Plan (as per mentioned above)
  • Innova / Xylo or Similar Exclusive Non AC vehicle for transfers & sightseeing. Please note the vehicle will not be at disposal, it will be available to guest as per itinerary only (point to point basis)
  • All permit fees & hotel taxes (as per itinerary)

Exclusions:

  • GST 5%
  • Air Fare / Train fare
  • Personal Expenses such as Laundry, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, mineral water, soft & hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, joy ride (Toy Train), porterage
  • Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary
  • Entrance Fees & Guide charges
  • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, should be is directly payable on the spot)
  • Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure

Itinerary

On arrival at Airport / Railway Station & transfer to hotel. Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Kolkata. Overnight stay at Kolkata

After breakfast start for full day Kolkata city tour covering Mother House, Birla Temple, Kalighat Temple, Netaji Bhavan, Indian Museum, Town Hall (Kolkata Panaroma), St. Pauls Cathedral Church and Victoria Memorial Hall. You can enjoy Tanga Ride beside Victoria Memorial on your own. Overnight stay at Kolkata.

Today after breakfast , check out from the hotel and head towards airport for flight to Bagdogra. After arrival in Bagdogra , you will be met and transferred to Hotel in Darjeeling. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Early morning (4:00 AM) visit Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of token, if not possible at the time of Sunrise, then it will be covered in day time.) and then back to hotel. After breakfast, starting at 8.30 AM, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ropeway (Note: Closed on 19th of Every Month), Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple(Peace Pagoda). Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling. Note: Darjeeling ropeway will be on direct payment basis. It has limited cabins (Approx. 8 and per cabin 4 persons can be accommodated), resulting in long queues due to high tourist volume. Be patient with potential delays. It could also impact your schedule for other sightseeing activities due to time constraints.

After breakfast start for a full day excursion trip to Mirik (4,902 ft.), which is a small picturesque hill station with a beautiful lake surrounded by forested hills on all sides with the back drop of Mt Kanchenjunga. The road runs through some fascinating tea gardens, and pine forests. Visit Sumendu Lake, which is famous for it being one of the best man-made lakes. Enjoy horse ride and boating at the lake site on direct payment basis. On the way back to Darjeeling return via Pasupati Market, which is situated in Indo-Nepal border (Extra vehicle charges will be applicable for Nepal Border to Pasupati Market on direct payment basis). Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

After breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival check-in to hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 37 Kms. / 02 Hrs. from Gangtok) and further drive to New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft. / 16 Kms. / 01 Hrs. from Tsomgo Lake). Evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok. Note: In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing. Due to winter season (heavy snow) vehicle will be able to drive till Snow point on the way to Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

After breakfast Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre (Closed on Sunday and 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Dro-dul Chorten, Gonjang Monastery and Bakhthang falls (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and take departure transfer to Bagdogra International Airport for your onward journey.
